Published on: July 11, 2025

The State Wide Area Network under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) is conceptualized to provide a state wide information highway, connecting the State Capital, District Headquarters and Sub-Divisional Headquarters.

It aims to act as a backbone network for data, voice and video communications throughout the State. It is a vehicle for effective implementation of Electronic Governance (e-Governance) across the state. The State Wide Network primarily consists of the 48 (forty eight) Points of Presence covering 1(one) State Headquarter, Kohima, 10(ten) District Headquarters and 37 (thirty seven) Administrative Headquarters.
