Training on Centralised Public Grievance Redressal Systems (CPGRAMS) was held at the new Directorate building of IT&C on 29th June 2018. The overall objective of the workshop was to sensitive public grievance nodal officers of the State Government on the usage of Centralised Public Grievance Redressal System (CPGRAMS).
Training on Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System was held at the Directorate of IT&C on 28th and 29th June 2018. The overall objective of the training was to build the capacity of the public Biometric Attendance nodal officers on the State Government is to sensitize on the day to day usage of the web based portal and various Utilities relating to monitoring of the Attendance system.
As part of the 100 day programme announced by the PDA Govt. the Director of Industries & Commerce, I. Bendangliba launched the Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System (BAS) on 29th May 2018 at the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Kohima in the presence of Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) officials led by Joint Director, Sabou Yashu.
The Nagaland Department of IT&C, Department of Power and Kohima Smart City Development Ltd Company hosted the Belgian Ambassador at the Directorate of IT&C in Kohima on May 8.On Smart cities, the Ambassador stated that they are already involved in building smart cities in some other states in India and expressed the possibility of working together here in Kohima.The Ambassador further mentioned that Belgium’s economy is driven by the private sector, where the government facilitates contact and gives information but it is up to the private sector to act.
The Department of Information Technology & Communciation participated in the celebration of 69th Republic Day by setting up Exhibition stall at Secretariat Plaza, Kohima.The stall was setup to showcase and highlight various activities ,initiatives undertaken by the Department of IT&C through flex printing, promotional video,pamphlet etc. Point Of Sale (POS) Machine was installed and utilzied at the stall to promote digital payment . Various electronic item such as Pendrive, Bluetooth Speaker,keyboard, router etc was sold with the sole objective to encourage and create public awareness regarding the usage of Digital Payment for Cashless Transaction...
The Digidhan mela was held at the Civil Secretariat Junction, Kohima, from 12th to 19th Dec 2017. The main aim of the Digidhan mela was to promote and raise awareness about digital payment systems.The Mela was launched by Parliamentary Secretary for IT&C, Dr. Longrineken. In his address Dr. Longrineken appealed all to be responsive and innovative to adapt an attitude and mindset that was receptive to Information Communication Technologies (ICT) based administration and ICT based delivery of services.
